Welcome to the Salt Lake Showcase - a celebration of local art right here in the heart of Salt Lake City!
Hosted by jenn ontai, Flow State Music Group and dj currentz
monthly event at Shades on State, every last wednesday 7p-11p
includes local vendors and visual artists, live painting, raffles, and of course, live performances from local independent artists
At the Salt Lake Showcase, we curate a diverse lineup of talented local musicians, emcees, and singer-songwriters, each bringing their unique styles to the stage. What makes the Salt Lake Showcase different is our friendly competition element. Each performer competes for the coveted title of "Best Performance of the Night," as voted by the audience. The rewards are more than just bragging rights - thanks to our generous sponsors like Hiveminded Studios and Cold Dogs Productions, the winner walks away with 2 hours of free studio time and free edited down photos of their performance at the showcase.
Are you a local musician, emcee, or singer-songwriter? Come showcase your talent on our stage and join our growing community of talented artists. Simply fill out the online form above to sign up and we will book you in the order we receive your submission. We book out MONTHS in advance so don’t sleep!
-All genres welcome. The beauty of the showcase is the diversity of the art
- Your set: 15 minutes, or 4 songs, whichever comes first
-Must be MOSTLY original material, like maybe 1 cover if you put a twist on it and kill it
-Sorry, no drum sets. Hand drums or electronic drum kit are fine. Again, we run a tight schedule.
-We encourage you to NOT lip sync over your tracks.
