when he moved to salt lake city in 2016, he wanted to start the first open mic at a bar downtown. he never imagined that it would become as meaningful, impactful, and spiritually charging as it is today. that is a product of a whole community buying into the concept of supporting by contributing. whether that be with their attendance, their performance, or their offerings, everyone takes pride in being a part of something bigger than any one individual.
